About the Journal

The Journal of Approximation Theory and Numerical Analysis (JATNA) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal devoted to the theory, methodology, and applications of approximation and numerical computation. The journal provides a focused platform for researchers, practitioners, and graduate students to publish high-quality work in approximation theory, numerical analysis, and closely related areas of applied mathematics.

JATNA welcomes original research articles, review papers, and short communications that present rigorous theoretical results, efficient numerical algorithms, or insightful computational experiments. Typical topics include function and operator approximation, numerical linear algebra, numerical methods for ordinary and partial differential equations, spectral and finite element methods, quadrature and interpolation, as well as approximation-based techniques in optimization, control, and data science.

The journal is committed to a fair and timely peer-review process, high standards of scientific quality, and broad accessibility of published articles. All accepted papers are published online and made freely available to the global scientific community.
